In Namvang Village, home to around 600 residents from the Hmong and Muser ethnic minorities, obtaining clean drinking water presents a significant challenge. Our initiative seeks to address this issue by setting up a water purification center and drilling a well. This endeavor aims to provide the community with access to safe and dependable drinking water, while also diminishing the need for firewood in the purification process.
Background of the Project
Namvang Village, situated near the Nam Ha National Protected Area, faces challenges in accessing clean drinking water. Currently, villagers rely on wood-fired purification methods, leading to high wood consumption and environmental degradation.
